Pioneer switching.
Dear Pioneer pilots,
As many customers have repeated trouble with the Pioneer switches - here is an explanation:
The Pioneer has two switches inside, both are switched on and off with a single button. If you have trouble turning off the Pioneer, you had one battery connected and switched with the switch in the installation phase. Now the two switch controllers are out of synchronization.
If you perform a switching process with both batteries connected you turn off one battery but you turn on the other one. The result is: the Pioneer cannot be switched off!
How to fix? Same as it was brought out of sync:
- Connect ONE battery and perform one switching process (on or off doesn´t matter)
- Connect the second battery again
- Both switches are now in sync and the Pioneer works as you would expect it.
