Sometimes its easy, but its just not obvious LOL.

Always remember to check Firmware versions and Make sure you upgrade to the latest firmware. In this case a client had trouble setting the failsafe on his PBR-12X. We tried assiting over the phone but was unsuccesful. so we asked the customer to send the unit in to be checked out. Once we had it we could connect up to the Powerbox Terminal programme on our laptop with a USB cable. Checking the firmware showed it was still on V1.0, and the latest is V1.4. So we simply updated the firmware using the powerbox terminal programme to V1.4 - after this it was simple as always to get the failsafe set! Hope this helps avoid issues for others.

Although this is a Powerbox-systems PBR-12X, this applies to most of the other products and powerbox devices that will connect to a Powerbox Receiver.

Most importantly, check once set that the failsafe settings have stored on the Powerbox device and not just the Reciever. the reason for this is if you loose the Rx for any reason ( becomes unplugged etc) the failsafe settings are on the powerbox device to which the servos are connected - this means the servos will still be sent to the desired Failsafe settings as chosen by you.
