GP 76cc - 5.5mm Ply Engine mount Blocks

(Sold individually - 1 x 3.2mm ply mount)

These are CNC Router Cut ply engine mounting blocks for the GP 123cc Engine. Made from 6,5mm Quality aircraft ply. these are used as spacers for mounting the engine instead of standoffs and are a far superior way of mounting the engine. 

Laminate these together using thin cyano to form the correct depth you need to replace the standoff distance required. Once laminated a Light sand to remove any burrs from the CNC router, a final coat of thin Cyano further hardens the block and adds some fuel / oil proofing.

They allow no twisting forces making the mounting far more solid.

The thick ply base directly behind the engine also acts like a mass damper and transmits less vibration through to the airframe than traditional standoffs.

Can be laminated with other thicknesses to get the required length.

the central hole allows both alignment or should you wish to lighten the mount you can simply use a hole saw to cut of the central area.
