Fuel Stabiliser - to use it or not is the question...

What does it do?
In short, it's a solution that bonds with gasoline to prevent evaporation. By doing so, it prevents fuel from forming sticky resins that can lead to serious engine trouble. When your aircraft or equipment is used regularly, the gasoline burns up before it can evaporate and degrade. But, when gas sits in a tank for extended periods, it starts to break down and deteriorate, leaving behind gunked-up, gummy deposits throughout your engine and worse the small passages in your Carb. once these are blocked it will cause endless running headaches.
Another well known fact of higher Ethanol content fuels is this is not good for our rubber diaphragms in the walbro carbs. So not only does it stop deposits from forming it helps to keep the Carb Diaphragms soft and pliable.

Is it worth it?
While some might say its a complete gimmick, i have seen cases and information that shows it does in fact work. With the higher Ethanol content in todays fuels its well worth adding this. When you consider that just 1 bottle of this will treat 300 litres of fuel! thats under 5p a litre of fuel!

Well worth it.
