These Anodised Carb covers are replacements for the standard silver / chromed covers on the HDA carbs as used on the GP 38 / 61 and 76cc motors and many other engines in this size class.
They have breather holes at the edges rather than on the cover itself, this helps keep mid range smoother particularly on the GP76cc where the front carb ( diaphragm) plate can be in the direct flow of incoming cowl air.
