Presenting the brand-new Extreme Flight 74" Laser EXP V2! The Laser EXP has exploded onto the scene in recent years and now we are releasing the next evolution of this design, the V2! By strategically implementing composite G10/ply laminate, carbon stringers and spars we've been able to reduce material thickness substantially allowing us to reduce weight while adding strength and rigidity. We've modified the design to require only a single elevator servo thus further reducing overall weight. We've also implemented the self-jigging stab/elevator installation that has become so popular among our customers assuring a hassle-free, easy and accurate assembly.
The Laser arrives to you highly prefabricated with pre-hinged and gap-sealed surfaces. Wings and canopy hatch attach via aluminum CNC latches meaning field assembly is a snap. Carbon wing tube, carbon landing gear, competition-grade hardware with Du-Bro ball joints, and a vibrant Ultracote covering scheme are all included.
For gas power, we recommend the DA-35 or GP-38 gas engines. Either is an excellent choice on 20x8 or 9" pitch gas props.
For electric power, you can go overkill with the XPWR35CC motor or save a little weight for 3D while still enjoying plenty of vertical thrust with the XPWR 32CC. Either way, we recommend a Castle Creations HV speed controller on firmware version 4.22 ONLY. We supplied XPWR test motors to Castle during the development of this firmware version and it's best matched to our motors. 
For servos we recommend QTY 4 of the excellent SAVOX 1270 or 1280 units (plus one throttle servo for gas power). The Laser uses ONE elevator servo and a pull-pull rudder installation. For more detailed component recommendations check out the spec sheet below.
